The Erasmus+ project, co-funded by the European Union, “Training for Early-Stage Researchers on Evidence-Informed Policymaking” (TESAR), has developed its Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)—a strategic document that will guide the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all project activities.
Prepared by the PAR University of Applied Sciences, the QAP establishes procedures and standards to ensure high-quality project management, effective collaboration, and the successful delivery of all TESAR results throughout the project duration, from September 2025 to February 2028.
TESAR aims to strengthen the connection between research and policymaking by equipping early-stage researchers with competencies in Evidence-Informed Policymaking (EIPM) and Science4Policy (S4P). The project will develop innovative training modules, AI-supported tools, digital simulation environments, and policy brief co-creation activities.
The Quality Assurance Plan introduces continuous monitoring, peer review procedures, evaluation surveys, and risk management mechanisms to support transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all work packages.
The international TESAR consortium includes partners from Denmark, Croatia, Italy, Finland, and Ukraine:
University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet – SDU), Denmark – Project Coordinator
PAR University of Applied Sciences, Croatia
Centro Ricerche e Studi dei Laghi (CRSL), Italy
Fondazione Miticoro, Italy
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK), Ukraine
Savonia University of Applied Sciences, Finland
Among the project’s planned outcomes are six EIPM training modules, certified micro-credentials for researchers, a digital policymaking simulation environment, policy brief development, and national dissemination events.
Through strong international cooperation and a comprehensive quality framework, TESAR contributes to innovation in higher education and promotes evidence-informed decision-making across Europe.
